The firm has seen significant expansion and growth over the past few years with office locations in Conway, Dillon, and Chesterfield. It is now the largest personal injury law firm based in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.

The firm’s history can be traced back to its founding by Peter D. Hyman. Known for his fierce advocacy and even fiercer friendships, Pete left an enduring legacy in Florence – whether as a driving force behind the establishment of Francis Marion University or through his heartfelt treatment of clients, whom he often considered his close friends.

Since 1989, Hood Temple has carried the torch of Pete’s legacy through various name and partner changes.
